Geocache Description:

Quart screw-top container short bushwack from paved path

I placed this cache because the orignal "And They're Off" cache was lost. This is on the Henson Creek Trail in the back of Rosecroft Raceway. This is a wide flat paved path along a creek (obviously) that is excellent for bike riding. Nice for a walk too, but there's not a lot of shade so it's not great in the middle of the day in the summer. The area floods fairly often and that may be how the old cache was lost. In fact, this is the second hiding place I've used after my cache was almost lost due to a combination of construction and flood. It's now a somewhat tricky hide with the cache completely out of view. It might even be too tricky. Climbing won't help you, but long arms might. Beware: the site is guarded by barbs, both natural and man-made. Best to follow the cut west of the cache to the creek and then head over. If you have trouble replacing the cache as found or find it out of place please cover it as best you can and let me know in your log (or better yet email me) so I can fix it.

There is parking off Bock Rd at 38 47.41 76 48.28 and a couple other places further away on the trail. For a shorter but often wetter route you can park on Henson Valley Way around 38 47.50 76 57.59 and follow the gravel path to the trail.

Again: Don't approach directly from trail, head in from cut to the west by fallen tree.
