Geocache Description:

This is the first in a series of caches designed to bring you to neat little "pocket parks" tucked into Boston's neighborhoods.

This park has it all: mosaics celebrating nature and commemorating Paul Revere's midnight ride; space to play frisbee or fetch; a fenced playground; fishing spots; benches from which to watch the Charles River Locks and traffic on the Zakim Bridge; and perhaps best of all, an interactive music-maker on the locks!

(We're serious about the interactive music-maker. It's really cool. Don't miss it, especially if you bring kids.)

From downtown or in the North End, consider approaching on the walkway that crosses the locks (or just follow the Freedom Trail til you're close). If driving... well, there's limited parking, but really, it's easier to walk.

The cache is on a less-populous side of the park, and will be do-able with wheelchair or stroller if you don't mind graveled paths on a slight grade.

Please--bring your own writing utensil! We consider the site to be the reward for this cache, but there is room in the outer container for a few small trade items.
