Cache is hidden in one of the things we like.
Spring/Winter 2012 the stand of trees fell. The cache was replaced July 2012 in the same spot, but different elevation :).
Co-ords will have shifted slightly, but not enough to impede finding. Please replace as found, camouflaging the container.
Some of the things we like: salmon berries, cedar trees, owls, ravens, woodpeckers and banana slugs. Happily, you can find all of these in this shady part of the park, a quiet area hidden in urban sprawl. (Except possibly the ripe salmon berries as we would have beaten you to them!)
After you have found the cache, continue down the creek for a view of the 'woodpecker tree' and some tiny falls (weather dependent!) If you search in the spring- be 'en guard' for stinging nettle!
Please note: the GPS was reading 6-9 metres accuracy. Have fun! Any hints would make it too easy!
