Geocache Description:


This cache (and two others) is on church property in the outskirts of Waupaca.

When the younger churchboys heard their older brothers talking about GeoCaching, they wanted to try it, and then they wanted their own cache, too. So this one is maintained by the upper elementary Royal Rangers scouting group from the church, the Discovery Rangers.

GeoCachers have permission to enter the property for the express purpose of hunting the cache, but are asked to avoid scheduled service times or any outdoor events - Sunday mornings 8:00 am - noon, and Sun. & Wed. evenings 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Park at N44* 20.451 W089* 04.889. The coordinates listed at the top of this page will take you to the cache, which is a container painted camo. It is tethered in place with a loose chain, but can be removed when found. Please put it back in place and hook up the chain again. This cache is winter friendly, and will be able to be completed any time of the year. The total hike is approximately 1/10 mile on level ground.

Since this cache belongs to a bunch of 8 - 10 year old boys, the ammo can was originally stocked with a lot of Disney and McD toys. Please consider trading in items of a similar nature. And while you are here, look for our big brothers' "Churchboys' Cache" (GCMVKZ) and our little brothers' "Mini Churchboys Cache" (GC14F8F) on the same property, and the nearby "Real Good Book" (GC2335X) cache.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
