Whipped Around Multi-Cache

This cache is located at Whipps Ledges in the Cleveland Metroparks Hinckley Reservation. Follow the above cordinates to the parking area. This will take you to the very easy first stage of this multi-cache. You will use the co-ordinates found here at stage 1 to take you up the nearby steps and into the woods for the remaining stages. Areas of this cache can become very busy so please be cautious so as not to be seen!
Tree cover and boulders may limit your GPS’s accuracy, I took multiple readings on multiple days to try and get a descent average for each location. There are three stages and one final stage that is a 1.7 pint Rubbermaid container containing normal cache items and a logbook. This is my first attempt at putting together a multicache so I hope it’s enjoyable, constructive criticism is welcome.
The Whipps Ledges area of the park is very unique, there are well established trails throughout the area. This cache takes you to some very large and impressive boulders, which can be climbed and repelled from if you have a permit to do so. If you’ve never been to this area I recommend bringing a camera. Poison ivy is not a problem normally at this site but may be present as with any cache. Terrain can be a challenge at times but nothing that is dangerous or impassible, extra care should be taken if caching in this area after a heavy rain or if there is ice in the area for those who cache during the winter months. This is why this cache has a terrain rating of three and a half, the finds themselves aren’t too bad. I also recommend taking your time to absorb the beauty this place has to offer. If it’s hot out, while there is plenty of shade, you should still bring some water with you as you access the various cache locations.
