High Sweden Bridge is an old Cumbrian packhorse bridge a short walk from Ambleside. Scandale Beck flows through the bridge tumbling down in a series of cascades and waterfalls.
The title of the cache does not refer to Abba, but the delightful walk to High Sweden bridge from Ambleside. There are two obvious routes from Ambleside, so it makes a great circular walk. I think this is best done anti-clockwise so that you get a great view of Windermere and the Southern Lake District Fells on the way down. The cache is a medium sized tupperware box, which when placed contained:
Note pad, Pencil, Sharpener, Bob the Builder, Chicken Run toy, Highlighter pen, A big marble, A Bendrigg Bug, Post it notes, 'Spot the Dog' badge, 1 American cent, A snowstorm, A shell and a pack of flashbulbs.
