When parking, look at the interesting mineral deposits as mineral water used to spill into the river in this area. Follow the walkway to the river. Cross over the mineral water that emerges from the small cave. The cache is named for this cave. Locals call this the “Cave of the Green-Eyed Monster.” The cave glows green (most likely due to the mineral content) when the train rounds the bend and the lights reflect the waters surface. The cache is an ammo box north of the cave. This is a theme cache. All original items have something to do with monsters.
