With two Lehigh Valley Geocache oldsters duking it out for the Over the Hill hunky geocacher of the year I thought it would be an event to be remembered to celebrate the birthdays of Tyson Sprandel and Artvandelay. There will be 129 candles on their cake! Bring oxygen or Sickticket should be on hand. The Old Guys will be only too happy to share all their geocache adventures (if you haven't heard them all already) and we'd like the pleasure of the company of all our fellow geocachers. We'll make this a pot luck cache from 11:00 a.m to 3 p.m. (or so). All geocachers must register at the office before going to the pavilion. The cost at the office will be $3.00 per person (sorry, the owner would not waive admittance price). The place is Evergreen Lake Campground outside of Bath, PA. A beach and miniature golf will be available if anyone has the urge to partake (for additional fee). Mrs. Artvandelay will provide the cake and the hotdogs & rolls. Please log your food, condiment item, beverage, or anything else you will be sharing in your logs. Now, don't forget - this invitation to bring food to share is optional as each of you can fill up on cake and hotdogs.
PS I thought it would be fun for Tyson and Art if each registered party bring each of them a $1 lottery ticket and see if we can make their dreams come true. This is optional of course and only a suggestion. Don't stay away if you are not of a gambling nature.
PPS For those interested in camping, the telephone number for Evergreen Lake is 610 837-6401. I have information on the pay for fishing also. E-mail me for info or call them. Again, NO DOGS ALLOWED UNLESS YOU ARE CAMPING AND THEN THEY HAVE TO BE KEPT ON A LEASH ON SITE AND NO DOG WALKING IS ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.
