This seemed to be a good place for a cache. I am not sure about the name of the drive-in, maybe someone remembers for sure. It closed when I was a kid, but I remember riding by and seeing the movies playing. The pillars that supported the screen are still there. This should be a fairly easy multi-cache. It only has two stages. This is the first cache that I have placed. Hope it is not too easy. Enjoy!
Stage 1: Magnetic attachment. Stage 2: Ammo can with several items for trading. The original contents include: -a log with a pen -a few pins -a few pens -a small NASA notebook -a few keyrings -a TB (Travelin Snowman - 522900) that I picked up in Kentucky recently An update....Some research has revealed that this drive in was called Parkway Drive-In. It was opened in 1955 and closed in 1978. If anyone has some pictures of the drive in I'd appreciate it if you can post them or send them to me. ~ wayne
