Geocache Description:

This is one of the most popular hikes on Hidra. Marked with red paint. Dette er en av de mest populære turene på Hidra. Rødmerket.

The cache is a medium sized plastic container (tupperware) wrapped in a transparant plastic bag.
Content: Various items. Cachen er en mellomstor plastikkbeholder (tupperware) pakket inn i en gjennomsiktig plastpose.
Innhold: Diverse småting.

This is the highest "peak" on Hidra. You can start the ascend along Langelandsveien - a steep start thou. You pass the sinister bog Tjødnemyra. Another 200 m and you start the last and final climb through boulders and bushy vegation. It's a wonderful view from the "peak" on a clear day.	Langelandsfjellet (291 m)	Dette er den høyeste "toppen" på Hidra. Du kan starte på Langelandsveien - en skikkelig bratt start. Deretter passerer du den skumle myra Tjødnemyra. Et par hundre meter til og du begynner på det siste strekket mellom kampesteiner og krattskog. Det er et fantstisk utsikt fra toppen på klare dager.
Hidra- the most beautiful island on the southcoast of Norway. Hidra is situated in Flekkefjord municipality. A ferry boat is connecting the island to the mainland.The trip takes only 5-6 minutes. Approximately 600 people live on the island. In the summertime, however, the population increases greatly.		Hidra - Sørlandets perle Hidra ligger i Flekkefjod kommune. Det er fergeforbindelse med fastlandet. Turen tar bare 5-6 min. Det bor rundt 600 mennesker på øya. Men om sommeren øker tallet til det mangedoblete.
