You will be walking on a mowed grass yard.
This ammo box (muggled - now a tub container) cache was placed with permission of the land owner with local help on the contents.
You will see an old school house. There is also an exercise area nearby. If you would like a stroll, a 3-part trail passes this site. The college section starts just to the west and continues through beautiful trees and over a bridge, along the south edge of the golf course and finally ends at the parking lot west of the football stadium. A second section heads south and continues all the way around the east edge of Wayne, past the softball complex, the new fire station and the south edge of town, where it goes along the creek and finally under the bridge of highway 15 on the very south edge of Wayne. The last section of the trail will eventually go west from the south edge of Wayne, and all around the west side of town to finally hook up with the college trail.
Update 9-5-2012: Original cache owner, The Three Amigos, can no longer care for the cache. Ownership was transferred to GeoJudt to keep it going for years to come.
