Geocache Description:

You will need plenty of bug spray during an early summer visit. It's a quite pleasant stroll during the rest of the year, including wintertime. The cache is off the north side of the trail; walk the trail until you're at a right-angle to heading into the brush.

Once a large cache stocked for the dogs, things dogs need and things dogs want, it was stolen in the winter of 2019/20. It's now replaced with a very small container (not micro) hidden in the root base of a large standing tree, surrounded by the jumble of sticks once used to hide the original double-sized ammo can. Start your search by parking at the Connors Bog Dog Park parking lot, and walk 1/3 mile southeast down the wide graveled trail until you reach the powerline crossing. At this point your GPS will begin to point you into the woods to the left (NE) side of the trail. You'll be about 50 feet off the trail when you reach 'ground zero'. The cache is placed in a large jumble of downed trees. Please note - you cannot access the cache from the roadway along the north side of Connors Bog!
