Ressel´s memorial
Josef Ressel (1793-1857) byl predevším vynálezce lodního šroubu, ale také lesník a spisovatel. Jako lesník pusobil ve Slovinsku, kde se podílel na zakládaní lesu na krasových útvarech. Sepsal Dejiny prímorských lesu. Vynález lodního šroubu netreba komentovat - od té doby je to na vode fofr.
Jeho pomník je umísten nedaleko Bílovic n. Svitavou v super míste poblíž Resslovy hájenky.
Josef Ressel was above all a devicer of the propeller, but also a woodman and writer. As a woodman he worked in Slovenia, where he participate on the seeding of the forest on the karst formation. He wrote the History of the coastwise woods. The device of the propeller accelerated the shipment. His memorial is situated near Bílovice nad Svitavou in the nice place near the Ressel´s lodge.
