Clinton Park Micro Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Rayman: Oh what a sad day, having to archive my very first hide. [:(] I went to check on the hide spot today, and the city went and chopped down the tree the cache was in. I may place a new cache in the park in the future, but I'll have to get creative since there isn't that many hide spots. Thanks to all who visited!

Geocache Description:

The cache is located in Clinton Park in the City of Tonawanda. It's a very small park, featuring a gazebo, bocce ball courts, and a few park benches. The park closes at dusk and dogs are not allowed.

The cache shouldn't be too hard to find. This is my first hide, and I thought I'd start off with an easy one. Plenty of on-street parking is available around the park. Please bring a pen or pencil to sign the log.

After finding the cache, be sure to check out the 229 year old tree nearby. A plaque was erected in 1976 commemorating its bicentennial. It reads as follows: "The International Society of Arboriculture and the National Arborist Association jointly recognize this significant tree in this bicentennial year as having lived here during the American Revolutionary Period"

Thanks for visiting my cache!
