Geocache Description:

In tribute to a cache, ok really a ripoff of a hide that I liked that I found while in Memphis, (wp GCBAD6 the Memphis Arch-that only took me 3 tries to actually find the darn thing) I put together the Huntsville Arch. The major issue will be that there is a metal fence up and over. I had as low as a 10' to as great as 40'+ variance. Waited till it was in the 10-11' range to grab the coordinates. There will be many mini-muggles around during the to and from school times.

The cache is a camo'd waterproof match container. There is no monofilament involved, the attachment is about the same color as the bridge. If you looked real close you could probably see it as you....what am I saying, this is University Dr. aka the Huntsville Speedway. Parking in the Bojangles lot or at Quizno's should be no problem. Ramps and stairs involved but it is handicapped accessible. It's also a tad noisy. This was a political hot potato for a few years. Then after the money was found and the bridge was built, UAH wanted to buy the school that the walkway was to serve. I think they call these things boondoggles. Contains just a log so bring a pen/pencil. Even though reception is spotty inside the fence a good read can be made. NOTE: You'll need to slide it over about 4 slots for it to ease out. Please replace as found.
