This cache is on a vehicle accessible island & requires a
short/easy hike through the woods on a sand/dirt trail which begins
at N 39* 56.570 W 91* 25.484 The trail begins very near my other
cache on this Island, Adams Landing, GCGTC5.
Along the trail are many mulberry trees so feel free to enjoy a
snack if you're there during season. I know we did!
Don't wander off of the trail
though because there is a lot of poison ivy along the way, but
there is very little at the actual cache site.
Near the cache site is a nice sandy beach where you can take a
break from the heat to do some wading. Since this is the main
channel of the river I wouldn't recommend going out too far as the
currents can be very dangerous! There is also an outstanding view
of the river & the nearby bridges.
Happy caching & God bless!
