Nice hike in the woods to a great view.
Not one to be shown up by another hiking group, I wanted to place a cache up in this area ever since the TNAB cache was archived. As an active member of the WNW (Weekday Night Wannabees) I wanted to put one up for the team. The cache is located just off the summit to hopefully keep it safe. The Ira Springs trail up is very well maintained, the last push to the summit is almost a scramble, but not quite. I brought my tusty hiking companion Baxter along for the trek and he thinks it is a dandy hide. Remember your Northwest Forest Pass and don't forget to sign in because you will be entering the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area. Cache is a 50cal ammo can. Peace, Nolenator
