This can be found by kayak or canoe only. Can hike to it in the winter time if lake is frozen. There are a couple of parking and launching areas to reach the island where the cache is hidden. Option #1: You can park at N43 56.894 W090 01.494. There are no bathroom facilities at this location. Option #2: Park and launch at N43 56.579 W090 02. 385. Both parking and launch areas are part of a state park so fees do apply.
Your are looking for a square camoflauged plastic container. The original contents included a travel bug, pedometer, whale, cat, rubber band and the log book and pen.
When the water levels are low the north side of the island can become very weedy and difficult to navigate through. You may want to enter the island from the south side and hike to the cache.
