Geocache Description:

Stephenville Crossing near the old railway bridge

This is a favourite birding spot, especially for migrant water fowl and the occasional rarity like an egret. Hence the name in honour of the world famous bird illustrator Roger Tory Peterson who featured the bridge in his Birds of Newfoundland. The cache is well out of sight from sharp eyed birders under some trees. Access is along an old road way across the old railway tracks. Contents in a pill container. This cache may get interfered with by local kids, please make sure you conceal it. The cache on the Newfoundland and Labrador section of the International Appalachian Trail. Info on the trail is in the cache
