Who?
Anyone who enjoys geocaching or just wants to learn more about it! You don't need to be a member of the WSGA (Washington State Geocaching Association) to attend, and kids are welcome.
What?
A BYOP (buy your own pizza) night out to meet and visit with fellow geocachers from the greater Whatcom, Skagit, and Island county area. Three of the new white Jeep Travel Bugs will be distributed at the event by random drawing as well, so here's your chance to get your hands on one of these coveted bugs.
Where?
Alfy's Pizza, 1060 South Burlington Boulevard, Burlington (in the Fred Meyer shopping center). We have a banquet room reserved there for the evening, and have been promised at least a 25% discount from their regular pizza menu prices. If we have a reasonably good turnout, the manager will raise that discount to 50% off, so the more the merrier!!
When?
Thursday evening, July 14, from 6-8 p.m.
Why?
Pizza, jeeps, and fun. We'll also be talking about a theme for a fall geocaching event for our area, as well as the upcoming January 2006 Cache Machine coming to Bellingham.
There will probably be a new cache or two hidden in the nearby area, so be sure to bring your GPSrs for some after-dinner caching fun!
Please post a "Will Attend" note to indicate how many in your party will be attending so we can give Alfy's a rough idea of how many to expect.
Alfy's Pizza has a wide selection of pizza, soup, salads, pasta, and sandwiches to choose from at good prices. This should be a great time to get together again -- hope to see you all there!
This Chapter Meeting is posted by the WSGA. If you are a geocacher in the state of Washington, please join the Washington State Geocaching Association. This is a great way to get the most out of geocaching in our region. Simply go to geocachingwa.org for details!
