We placed this cache during a four wheel drive day out in the area,
but the cache can be accessed by 2WD if you don’t mind a few
kilometres of well formed dirt roads.
We placed this cache to show others an area we really enjoy
spending a day or weekend playing in. If you have a four wheel
drive you may want to explore some of the may tracks this area has
to offer. (About 3/4hr after placing this cache we spent 2 hours
bogged on the top of sisters track, attack this one with care) The
cache name comes from the fact it is hidden at Egg Rock, if you
climb the egg you will see the view. If you are not that energetic
a good view can be obtained from walking around the egg away from
the tower. The gate to the fire tower is now permanently locked and
you will have a couple hundred meter walk up a slight to moderate
hill.
