Geocache Description:

A Cache-Cadians hide-a-month club cache. A Quick Stop along Hwy 2. No need to go down the bank.

This is one of my favorite stops to appreciate the power of water. At this spot, the Wenatchee River is constricted to a pretty narrow little channel. Water weighs 62.4 pounds per cubic foot. Imagine the weight of all the water flowing through this little gap pushing you against a rock. Wanna take a swim? Nor do I. Just upstream and just downstream are areas where the river has washed out the highway 2 times in the 12 years we've lived near here. Here's to the power of water!
