G Pa's Dock Traditional Cache

Pay attention to the name of the cache. Easy walking but you will have to be careful when you get to the cache location, especially at high tide. Suggest parking in the city parking at the end of Howe Street. The cache is in a green ammo box.
We love the Southport area and have spent a great deal of time here. We have only found one other cache (virtual) nearby so I decided to add some. I have ridden my bike by this location a hundred times and not noticed it. A good place to stop and rest while watching the boats and shipping traffic.

Note: we have a home in the area and go there often, so if there are issues with the cache, we'll get to them pretty quickly.
The original cache was removed by persons unknown. I have replaced the original tupperware container with a green ammo box.
***UPDATE*** The ammo box has dissappeared?!? I have placed a temporary waterproof cache container at the same location. I added a piece of rope to secure the cache in place. Perhaps the wind and waves at extreme high tides are taking thier toll on the cache. At any rate, happy hunting and enjoy your visit.
