Un cache alla casa dei pipistrelli, la Grotta del Sassocolato a Castell'Azzara.
A cache to the "house of the bats", the Cove of the Sassocolato to Castell' Azzara, Italy.
Il cache è nascosto vicino alla "Grotta del Sassocolato" di Castell'Azzara (o Castellazzara) (www.comune.castellazzara.gr.it/grotte1.htm#sassocolato) che è famosa anche per il particolare tipo di pipistrelli (chirotteri) endemici che a migliaia la occupano. Castell'Azzara è una piccola città posta a c/a 800 metri di altezza ed ha una splendida vista sulla valle sottostante. La Grotta è estremamente facile da raggiungere ma per visitarla occorre essere accompagnati da guide specializzate per non disturbare i pipistrelli che ci vivono. Di particolare fascino vedere l'uscita dei pipistrelli dalla grotta all'imbrunire quando tutti insieme escono per andare a caccia di insetti. La zona è compresa nella Riserva Naturale del Montepenna e continuando (anche in auto)sulla strada che porta verso la Grotta si può salire di quota e godere di stupende viste.

The cache it is hidden close to the "Cove of the Sassocolato" of Castell'Azzara (or Castellazzara)(www.comune.castellazzara.gr.it/grotte1.htm#sassocolato)
that it is famous also for the particular type of bats (chirotteri) endemic, thousands of them occupy it. Castell' Azzara is a small city at c/a 800 meters height and has a splendid vision of the valley below. The Cove is extremely easy to catch up but in order to visit it it is necessary to be accompanied by specialistic guides in order not to disturb the bats that live in. Of particular fascination is to see the escape of the bats from the cove in the twilight when them all exit in order to go hunting of bugs. In the

Other news in (www.comune.castellazzara.gr.it/) the zone is comprised in the Natural Reservoir of Montepenna and continuing (also by car) on the road that brings towards the Cove, you can go uphill and enjoy a wonderful view.
