For the first stage, parking is available on Rochelle Dr., and
there is no need to enter or disturb the landscaped area. We had to
move the second stage in May of 2006 due to construction. I don't
think the redirector itself is quite as neat as it used to be, but
it will take you to a neat new feature being built in the park. Be
sure to check it out while you're there. The final container keeps
getting taken, so we have been forced to switch to a micro
container. It used to be hidden in the trunk of the tree, but no
longer.
Tanglewood Trio
The Tanglewood forest is a place of serendipity. The rendezvous
started at the Woodlands, their eyes made contact across the
boulders and flowering cactus. They sat under the twinkling stars,
gazing at one another. She stated “If it is meant to be we
will find each other again. I will leave a token somewhere in the
forest and if you find it, it will lead you to my heart.”
With that she left. He had no way of contacting her. He only knew
that she loved a walk in the forest, so he searched every forest in
the area.
As he searched, his path led him to a brier in the greenest
forest he had ever seen. As he passed beneath the oaks, he found a
place where secrets may lay. He thought for sure this is where the
token would be. His heart raced with anticipation. Surely this
would be her sign, as it is a place where not many have traveled
but where one can enjoy the beauty of nature.
As the search continued, he decided he was on the right trail.
That is, the trail of the oaks. This silky haven is a place where
people go to celebrate the season’s greatness. You can play
in the soft sand or swing your way to the sky. But the forest does
not tell all; only that it is as mighty as the heart of the fair
maiden.
