This is the first in a series for you to collect GeoBeads for your GPSr. If you don't want to collect GeoBeads, please just sign the log.
Please don't take a bead as a trade item. As these are a limited edition – we ask that each family / caching group take only one bead. This allows more to enjoy the fun.
Like in Cub Scouts where boys get beads for completing achievements, we have created beads for geocaching achievements. Visit Oregon GeoBeads Air cache to find another bead for your string.
Find Oregon GeoBeads Earth, Oregon GeoBeads Air, Oregon Geobeads Water, and Oregon GeoBeads Fire. Then, with the knowledge you gain; locate Oregon GeoBeads L.A.U.G.H. to claim the unique L.A.U.G.H. bead.
This series was inspired by the original GeoBeads series created by ZapBoy - located in Mountain View, California. They have graciously allowed us to use their idea. If you happen to be in that area, find their series as well.
In order to log this cache, please tell us exactly how many GeoBeads are left in the cache. This is a limited edition series. We created these caches to reward the people who find it. Please help us by only taking one bead per family, only taking a bead if you want to collect them (not as trade items), and not leaving anything else in the cache. If you don't want to collect, please just sign the log.
