This one’s no Secret, but it’s not exactly A Picnic either. It does include a bench however.
A single-stage Cache along the Ocqueoc Falls Bicentennial Pathway. Ample parking is available at the falls parking lot, N 45 23.759 W 84 03.344. From the parking lot, walk down to view the falls. Take a few minutes there to soak in the beauty of the place, and snap a few pictures. From that point you will begin your moderately short hike to the cache. This entire trail system is off limits to motorized vehicles, but is bicycle friendly.
This is the 3rd Cache in my L.P.T. series. The container is a 4” x 7” plastic screw top jar, containing Logbook-Pen & geoTrinkets. To prevent the possibility of damage by critters, please do not leave food items of any type. Liquids are subject to freezing in the winter, breaking their containers, and thus creating a mess within the Cache. Therefore, please do not leave liquids of any type in this Cache.
If you care to extend your stay at Ocqueoc there is a nice picnic area, and a small rustic campground as well.
