Large ammo can less than 500' from parking. Nice view of the Salt River basin from here.
Hike is a little steep but trails will take you almost right to the cache.Good for young cachers, just watch out for stickers.During the hot months keep an eye out for snakes and such, of course. When we hid the cache there were alot of ATV'ers out there so keep ahold of little ones. Have fun and good luck!!!!
Team Red Dog *****************UPDATE JAN. 2020***********************************we put a NEW AMMO CAN full of goodies and a new log book. we could not find the "old black water bottle" that someone said they moved this cache into. If you happen to find the black water bottle please remove it or add its contents/TB's to the NEW AMMO can. Checking a few weeks later (Jan 20) we found that the NEW Ammo Can had been moved closer to the very top of the mountain... AGAIN.... so feel free to place it at the listed coordinates if you find it has been moved again. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE FINDING THE NEW AMMO CAN...PLEASE CHECK AT THE VERY TOP AGAIN...IT KEEPS ENDING UP THERE :) Thank you so much everyone :) I know the signal is a bit wonky up there....but the view is worth it! Alot of new goodies for the new finders!
