This is the replacement for my original 4th of July cache that was placed last year and has now gone missing.
Our family has been coming up to Warner Springs Ranch Resort in July or August every year since I can remember. This cache sort of overlooks the resort. You can easily see Palomar Mountain and Lake Henshaw. I hope you like this short adventure!
If you have a 4x4, you can probably drive all the way to the cache. Otherwise, it is about a fifteen minute walk from the trailhead off Camino San Ignacio. You will find a snowmobile at 514/392. If you can get it running and if there is snow on the ground, this might be an excellent mode of transportation for this one!
