Der Cache befindet sich bei interessanten Basaltklippen.
Parkmöglichkeit bei N 50°27,132 / O 009°14,790. Von dort sind es ca. 2 km bis zum Ziel. Wanderschuhe sind notwendig, vegetationsbedingt sind lange Hosen empfehlenswert. Der Cache kann auf Wander- und Holzabfuhrwegen erreicht werden, eine topografische Karte erleichtert die Wegwahl.
Ergänzungen vom 16.01.2011:
Der Vogelsberger Höhenclub hat eine Tafel mit interessanten Infos zu dem Ort angebracht (siehe Foto). Der letzte Satz hat uns besonders gut gefallen: 'Nach der Sage sollen im Berg in einem großen Saal reiche Schätze liegen, die von einem feurigen Hund bewacht werden.'
English:
The Cache is locaed near interesting cliffs. Parking is available at N 50°27.132 / E 009°14.790. It is a 2 km one way hike best done with sturdy hiking boots. Long trousers are usefull when vegetation is high. The cache can be reached by hiking trails and logging roads.
A topographic map maybe usefull to select the best way.
Additions dated 01/16/2011:
The hiking organisation 'Vogelsberger Höhenclub' has set up a signpost giving iteresting infos to this location (sorry only n German, see photograph). There is one sentence we liked so much that we try to translate it here: According to the legend there is a large hall within he mountain holding rich treasures guarded by a vicious dog.
