Der Boowald ist der grösste
zusammenhängende Wald im Mittelland. Er ist bekannt für seine
langen geraden Tannen. Früher wurden diese für den Schiffbau übers
Wasser (Aare und Rhein) bis an die Nordsee
transportiert. |

forêt de Suisse centrale. Elle est connue pour ces sapins aux
troncs élancés. Ces derniers étaient utilisés pour la construction
navale et transportés par les eaux (Aare et Rhin) jusqu'à la mer du
Nord. |

trees, used for shipbuilding and sent over the water (Aare and

Früher befand sich in diesem
Gebiet ein grosser Weiher, der 1530 von der Stadt Zofingen erstellt
wurde und 1550 schon aufgehoben wurde.
Vor einiger Zeit hat hier die Gemeinde Vordemwald einen Lebensraum
für Frösche, Wasserbewohner und Pflanzen eingerichtet. Bitte,
respektiert die Natur!

À l'époque s'étendait ici un
immense étang, créé en 1530 par la ville de Zofingen, mais dissout
déjà vingt ans plus tard.
Il y a quelques temps, la commune de Vordemwald a aménagé un
espace naturel pour les grenouilles ainsi que pour une faune et une
flore très diverse. S'il vous plaît, respectez la
nature!

"Boowald-Restaurante" lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Ein Abstecher zum
nahen Städtchen Zofingen oder zum Kloster St. Urban und dessen
berühmten Barockkirche können empfohlen werden.

également un détour par la petite ville de Zofingen et une visite
du couvent de St.-Urban, avec sa fameuse église
baroque.
