Not a long hike, but a good walk through the prairie. No trail.
This cache is placed to compliment the Honoring Willa Cather cache. The area is the Willa Cather Memorial Prairie. This is the land that Willa came to know and to love. Its been said that anyone can love the mountains, but it takes a soul to love the prairie. Willa had that kind of soul. Sometimes schools bring classes out here to absorb the inspiration that Willa found living on the prairie. At the right time of year the area is filled with wildflowers. Spend a little time here and enjoy.
