This is a easy cache and can be approached from more than one direction, but there is one that is better than the others. To find which one that is, might be the only hard part of your search. ( Dont follow take a Rd that has a Man's Name)
Back in the early and mid 1900s this hill was alive with the raising of hogs to feed the inmates and employees of the Sonyea Institution. The remains of the stys or pig pens are still to be found in the overgrowth. These pigs were born, raised, slaughtered, and butchered here, before being brought by wagon across the gully below to the coolers of the institution. With time, came drugs that controled the epileptic seizures of the patients, and the closing of the institution. The new residents of the institution are ones that are being incarcerated for breaking the laws of New York State. You can drive to about .37 of a mile from cache, from one direction and must stop there, and be careful of the barbed wire. I do not recommend that you start from here. Another approach will let you park within .44 of a mile of the cache and if you choose this one, you might get wet feet, if you are not careful. The third approach is the closest and will not attract the attention of the keepers of the keys. MAP READING will give you the key YOU are looking for and will allow you to drive within a short walk to the cache. SEE PHOTO..If your coming from the north or south, taking 390 and getting off at the Sonyea exit. Follow your GPS from there, and remember to have fun. KillerB lost some of his stinging power, while in Florida, and is in a weakened state. So he is starting out with a easy hide, till his venom has been restored to a more potent state.
