Tupperware container hidden at end of easy hike on well defined trail with minimal elevation gain. No need to leave the beaten path.....until the end -- when you really start looking!
Trailhead parking at N42 55.144 W72 35.202. There is a second trailhead leading to cache site, but hike is much longer with greater elevation gain. Beautiful .52 mile hike through property that is privately owned, but managed through the Nature Conservancy. The public is welcome, but please geocache between the hours of 7:30 am and 7:30 pm. Dogs are welcome, and muggles may be numerous. Be discrete! In clear weather the views are fantastic -- West River, Connecticut River and Mt. Monadnock. What could be better?! A great snowshoe in the winter, but depending on snow depth may need to dig through the snow to find -- could be slippery on the rocks. Be careful! Be sure to find Long Winter's Nap on the way up or down...... NOTE: PLease, PLEAse, PLEASe, PLEASE replace exactly as found! There is a critical rock hiding the cache container from muggles. Please put it back where you found it. Thank you!
