Geocache Description:

Second in a series of caches on corporations that call Louisville home.

Papa John's has nearly 3000 restaurants in 49 states and 15 international markets.
In 1984, "Papa" John Schnatter knocked out a broom closet located in the back of his father's Jeffersonville, Indiana tavern (Mick's Lounge), sold his prized 1972 Z28 Camaro, purchased $1,600 worth of used restaurant equipment, and began selling his pizzas to the tavern's customers. The customers loved the pizza so much that John was able to expand by moving into adjoining space, eventually leading to the opening of the first Papa John's restaurant in 1985.

When Papa Johns became big enough to need a headquarters, they chose Louisville. Papa Johns is a strong supporter in the local community as well as having the naming rights to the University of Louisville football stadium.

The cache is an ammo box located on the edge of the grounds of the Papa Johns headquarters.

CAUTION: Watch out for duck droppings and Barbed Wire.
