Geocache Description:

There is an old roadway, currently a trail used by snowmobilers, ATVs and dirt bikes as well as walkers, that connects
Hay Bay Road at N 45 14.470 W 081 40.745
with Cape Hurd Road at N 45 13.853 W 081 40.258.
The cache can be reached from either end but is closer to Hay Bay Road.

We’re sure the flickers were laughing at us as we searched for a good spot to hide the cache. The trail goes though logged cedar bush and there are many side trails and a few old camp sites, not much of interest. To make this find more exciting we have included directions to a couple of interesting caves on Parks Canada's property where we are prohibited from staging caches, even virtual caches. The entrance to the first cave has been blocked by logs and rocks!
