I Gökberg hittar ni grunden efter ett gammalt torp. På 1800-talet bodde det människor här som valde att lämna den fattiga finnmarken och flytta till Amerika. Vid sekelskiftet flyttade då en man hit från Nain tillsammans med sin hustru som kom från Vika i Grundrämmen. Torpet var bebott till slutet av 40-talet.
Nu är platsen mycket igenväxt, men tidigare hade man en underbar utsikt över både sjön Nain och Bredsjön från denna plats.
By Gökberg you'll find the ruins of an old cottage. In the 1800-century there where people living here who chose to leave the the poor norhern forrests of sweden and move to America. By the start of the 1900's a man moved here from Nain with his wife from Vika in Grundrämmen. The cottage was inhabited until the end of the 40's. The site is now overgrown, but back in the days you had a wonderful view over Nain and Bredsjön.
