Kiwanis Park Traditional Cache
Maine Family: This has been here since 2005 with no problems. Back then people just enjoyed caching and the location. Now it is about the numbers so people aren't putting them back or enjoying the place so we are archiving this.

This is a park in Dover-Foxcroft behind the YMCA. It offers a pond for fishing which the Kiwanis of Dover-Foxcroft stocks for the kids, picnic tables and grills. It has a terrific playground and a place for skateboarding. It is on the rails to trails railroad bed which makes for a nice walk. Great place to take the whole family. The park now closes from sunset to sunrise and is patrolled by the police.
This is now a green ammo box and has Kiwanis Park Geocache written on it. It's original contents include, seashells, Maine granite, sand dollars, Maine quarters, candles, water ball, fishing lures, fishing flies, law books, bookmarks, fish bottle opener and a variety of pins.
