*gln: ARCHIVING ABANDONED CACHE

Greetings GeoGache,

Looks like our timing is off and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't any maintenance here in a very long time, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Archiving due to lack of maintenance is permanent.
CACHE ARCHIVAL IS PERMANENT.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks a MILLION for all you have done, Glenn

Geocache Description:

This four-part multi-cache consists of three waypoints to gather information and a regular size final. The entire route is about 1.25 miles one way if you park once and walk, but there is convenient and free parking near each spot. The WPs were chosen to be of special interest to kids, so kids may want to linger at each WP, but extended time is not required.

WP1: That's Some Choreography!

The coordinates above take you to the first waypoint. If you are not in a hurry, you may want to stay at the location for up to 15 minutes to watch the entire "dance" routine. While here, count the number of jets and the number of submerged spotlights focused on them. Children are definitely welcome to visit this spot. We would not have known of its existence if we had not been directed here!
Let the number of lights be W.
Let the number of jets be X.
Let B be the number of jets, minus the number of lights. So B = X - W

    X = _____

    W = _____

    B = _____

WP2: What Is That Hammering?

N 38 46.388
W 90 28.929

This waypoint is near a museum that you may also want to explore. The museum is upstairs and open Mon-Sat 10 am to 5 pm and from noon to 5 pm on Sundays. There is a $1 entrance fee for children and $2 for adults. If you visit the museum, you may want to spend an hour or so at this waypoint. If you hear hammering, check out the activity at ground level right under the museum. You do not need to enter the museum to reach the waypoint. There is a sign at the waypoint with information about a special expedition.
How many expedition members were granted permission to attend church just before leaving? Let this number be Y.
How many cheers did the group get when they started off? Let this number be Z.

Y = _____

Z = _____

WP3: Big Explorers!

N 38 46.557
W 90 28.949

At this waypoint, you will find a statue of some famous explorers. You can walk all the way up to the group and pose among them! One of them is a Seaman. To find the value of C, answer the following question:
    If the Seaman is reclining, C = 7
    If the Seaman is sitting, C = 9
    If the Seaman is standing, C = 5
    If the Seaman is riding a horse, C = 3

C = _____

Final: Explorer's Treasure

To get to the Final, you need to fill in these coordinates:

    N 38 46.AB
    W 90 28.CD

You should have B and C from your travels above.
To get A: Multiply Y and Z, then add 10.
    YZ + 10 = _____
    A = _____

To get D: Multiply B and X, then subtract 10.
    BX - 10 = _____
    D = _____

    N 38 46._ _ _
    W 90 28._ _ _

The final brings you to a place that may have a lot of activity! On many weekends and holidays there are historical re-enactors or performers nearby. This is also a comfortable place to rest, so tourists may be present. Be very careful when obtaining the actual cache to avoid suspicion! You may want to come back at a quieter time, if this seems too difficult!

Cache container is 2-qt plastic and stocked with goodies for kids!
