Geocache Description:

This cache should be easy to find near Tjeldsund bridge.

Beware of anglers when you collect this cache. Don't expose your find for everyone else.

The cache is a 35mm Film Canister containing cash only (plus log and a very small pencil.

January 2006: After a DNF report I checked the cache. The box was not where it should be. Stolen, I guess.
May 2006: Yet another DNF. New checking. The cache had disappeared againg.
So, as of May 12. 2006 the cache has a new location. The original location was under the bridge. That is not the case now.
A couple of questions regarding the Tjeldsund bridge has popped up:

Q1: What are the locked boxes connected to the suspension bridge cables? A1: I guess the locked boxes are there to protect the area where the cables are joined together.

Q2: And what is the "beeping" box at the eastern side? A2: The beeping from the box is preventing wild animals from crossing over to Hinnøya. The sound is irritating for animals, I guess.
