The Grand Union Canal links Birmingham to London with a waterway which is 145 miles long and contains 166 locks. This cache is one of a series to be found along or close to the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire stretch of the canal.
The Wendover Arm was originally built as a feeder to supply water to the summit level of the Grand Union Canal, but it soon became apparent that more water was leaking from the sides of the arm and it was actually having a detrimental effect! The canal fell into disrepair. It is now being restored in stages and the cache lies along the one and a half miles at the Eastern end, which are still in water.

The co-ordinates at the top of the page will take you to a distance marker for the GJCCo, which tells you that Braunston is G5 1/A miles and Wendover is E F/B miles distance. Next to this sign is a benchmark in the wall. at the bottom, there is a three digit number, which is 8CD
You need to substitute the numbers into the formula below, in the usual fashion, to get the final cache co-ordinates.
