Geocache Description:

In the original Animal Farm written by George Orwell a group of farm animals who successfully revolt against their cruel human owner, only to be enslaved anew by the unscrupulous pig Napoleon, whose slogan is "all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." In 'Animal Farm Retold', this never happens. All of the animals live harmoniously, enjoy playing all day, and have plenty to eat. So, come, trade animals, or just join in on the fun. Very kid-friendly cache.

This structure was built in 1883 by J.C. Brown using Howe trusses. The overall length is 80 feet with a clear span of 73.8 feet. The mason on this job was H.E. Hebble. It is located near the historic Dean Farm which has been in the same family for generations.
