Geocache Description:

The Grand Union Canal links Birmingham to London with a waterway which is 145 miles long and contains 166 locks. This cache is one of a series to be found along or close to the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire stretch of the canal.

The co-ordinates at the top of the page will take you to the car park of a pub beside Bridge 133. If you chose to park there, it may be polite to buy a drink in the pub. You will need to find some numbers and then use them to derive the final co-ordinates.

Please take care on this road as it can be very busy. What is the name of the pub? The number of letters in the first word gets you the value A, the number of letters in the second word gets you the value B and finally, the number of letters in the third word gets you the value C.

Set into the wall of the pub you will find a post box. This has a postcode on it, which will get you
HPDE FFF

Now, substitute the numbers into the formula below to derive the final cache co-ordinates

N51 48.(B+F)ED W000 39.(A+E-B)C(A-F)
