Tracks long gone Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

bonaccord: Seems from a couple of reliable reports that this has gone walkabouts. It's a pity because this has been a popular cache. But regrettably this cache has now been archived.

Geocache Description:

An easy level walk mostly along the track of the old Lambourn Valley Railway

The cache is in a 2-litre ice-cream box painted green/brown camouflage and contains the usual small items that include a credit-card sized calculator and lots of tiny plastic ants!
It is located along an old railway track in the Lambourn Valley. This peaceful valley is an area off the usual tourist trail and is well worth a visit. You can park in Great Shefford (appx 1 mile), or take a much more picturesque trek from Weston (also appx 1 mile). If starting from Weston the path begins through a gate that appears at first glance to be private. You have to press a button on the wall for the electrically operated gate to open!
Parking possible in both places. From either starting point take the signposted Lambourn Valley Way footpath.
