Geocache Description:

This cache is located 1.5 hours walk from the Maitai Dam car park.Gates close at 5pm daily. A torch and a rope is advisable if you wish to enter the cave.
GPS coverage is generally poor.

When you reach these coordinates the cache is within 20 meters approx.of the cave entrance.As the gps coverage is so poor you should be able to find it with just the hint on its own.
Take the time while you here to enter the cave and have a good fossic around.Please take care as rocks are slippery.
Can be a bit muddy at times too.
When placed our 1lt square black snap lock cache contained a log book, pencil, pen and a variety of the usual treasure and trinkets.

Please don't disturb the weta's hotel.Check out the ceiling with your torch and see all the weta's in their natural habitat.
