Another cache on White Mountain, the great guardian of Rock Springs, WY.
This cache is in honor of our 2000th cache find May 2005 and our 2000th travel bug-coin-jeep found in August 2005. It is a plastic container with a yellow lid. A series of dirt trails will take you to and up White Mountain. The cache is at an elevation of just over 7000 feet. One can hike, bike, ride and drive the trails close to the cache. Views below are of Rock Springs, North Rock Springs, and the Sweetwater County Fairgrounds area as well as distant views of many desert mountains.
