This is my 1st cache...I don't think it's very difficult. I think you'll enjoy the walk...some really great scenery here.
This is located on State Game Lands. If you go in hunting season, be sure to wear orange. To get close, follow RT 217 N from Blairsville to the Grange Hall. Go to the stop sign that is just to the right of the Grange. Go straight up the steep hill (Wainwright Road)to N40 29.718' W079 17.515 and park there.
There is another way to get to it via McConnell road, but the walk is much longer- up to you. Proceed to walk on the emergency road on your left until you find a trail off to the left. If you don't see the trail or think you might not see the trail click on the spoiler below. You are looking for a Lock 'n Lock container.
UPDATE: The trail you're looking for is pretty much grown over now- at least the start of it is. You'll want to go about 75 to 100 yards short of the bridge and look hard for an entry into the woods. You'll see a clear trail after about 20 yards. There's no need to bushwhack no matter what your GPS tell you.
