The container
speaks:
I was once a container that held a fine spice
from a far-away place. My contents were, "Simply, The Best!" People
came from far and wide to shake me and get me to quite literaly,
"spill my guts" so as to titilate their tastebuds.
Those were the days when I was, "Simply, The Best." However, after
all the demanding folks consumed my innards, they simply tossed me
away, like an old, broken down pair of shoes. I was destined for
the landfill, where I would be buried in the dirt, never to be seen
again. There, I would not even be allowed to decompose in a
respectable manner. Oh, the horror of it all!
To my surprise and delight, a couple of nice people picked me out
of the "refuse" and decided that I might make a good container for
a game they play, known as "geocaching." I don't know what it all
entails, but hey, anything has got to be better than being buried
in the landfill.
Well, now, these nice folks have filled me with small "tradable"
items, re-enforced my lid, put a piece of paper that they referred
to as a "log" inside me, and have hidden me in a place where I
should remain safe. They assured me that they would come back to
visit every now and then to check on me, and make sure I am ok.
They also said that others would come out to check on me too. I
don't understand it all, but I'm glad to be here. I
think...!
The geocachers
speak:
We have been wanting to place a cache here
for nearly a year. All I can say, is, "It's about time." This is
the favorite Saturday night "hotspot" for Atrus. When you arrive,
you will know why it's "Simply, The Best!"
The cache is well hidden completely out of sight, and you have to
be LOOKING for it to find it.
Please
note: the
LID of the cache
container is, and will remain
ATTACHED, so
please do not try to remove it or pull on it!!!. Hold the top, and
unscrew the bottom of the container. Please rehide it
exactly as you
found it.
There will most likely be mugglers here, so please be
discrete.
There should be a pencil in the cache container, but you still
might want to bring one of your own.
