Geocache Description:

This cache was placed by myself and my Boy Scout Troop while we were at Summer Camp in 2005. The troop had found several caches and decided they would like to place one.

The cache is a red water thermos and the original contents included several bracelets, hair pulls, crazy beans, toy cars and rubber snakes. A notebook and some pens are also included. All of the items are contained in a plastic bag within the thermos bottle, so please take care to seal it up well after you visit.

This property is owned by leaders in the troop and we have their permission to use the property for this purpose, please be respectful of the area so we can continue to use it.

This cache will be closed down and off limits during the following times:
Memorial Day Weekend
4th of July Weekend
Labor Day Weekend
2nd Weekend in October

This property was formerly a farm. The stone foundations of the house, shed, barn and silo are still present, although with the overgrowth, not easy to spot. Also take care around the foundation of the farm house (if you go looking for it) as it is mostly the remnants of the basement, which is below ground level.

On the property now are an outhouse and log cabin shed, please leave everything the way you find it. Thank you!

Feel free to use this printout as permission to be on the property should neighbors ask. There is only 1 neighbor within 200 acres, so that isn't likely to happen.

There are Raspberry plants near the cache, so long pants would be a good idea.
