An easy walk will take you to this cache located in a forest preserve area in Northbrook.
UPDATE 5/13--The container was wet and we have replaced it with a lock n' lock.
UPDATE 10/10--The cache was missing and we have replaced it with a camo-covered screwtop.
For more than twelve years we enjoyed the friendship and companionship of a Labrador Retriever named Chelsea. One of her favorite activities was taking us for walks in this forest preserve area. This place has everything a dog could want: wide-open spaces to run in, shaded woods, graceful deer, and fabulous smells (if you’re a dog that’s a very important factor). We often think of Chelsea when we’re geocaching (she would have loved this activity) and this seemed like just the right location for a hide. The cache is a small ammo box that we have initially stocked with dog toys and accessories. Bring a four-legged friend if you can, have fun, and enjoy a walk in the field and woods.
